Substance Abuse

It is an excessive use of substances, especially drugs or alcohol. People abuse substances for various complicated reasons, but this activity come with very high costs. It can lead to many negative effects in the workplace such as productivity loss, high absence rate, increased accidents, poor team morale and so on. Those factors disturb the future prospects of the individual and the organization.
