‘Queen of the Skies'

Boeing 747 is one the successful aircraft ever built. As of March 2014, 1486 aircraft had been built. It was known as ‘Queen of the Skies’ and kept her title for 40 years until the arrival of Airbus A380. She revolutionized the air transport by being the first high passenger capacity, long range, wide-bodied and two crew glass cockpit passenger aircraft in the world. It can easily fly for 14 hours non-stop with the maximum speed of 920km/h. Boeing 747 first flew with Pan American Airline in 1970.
