Handed Parts
Drawings of handed parts usually have the left-hand, upper, inner or forward part drawn. This item is allocated to the odd number and the opposite hand to the consecutive even number. The drawing sheet bears the legend ‘AS DRAWN’ and ‘OPP HAND’ in the item quantity column. Where necessary, the handed condition is indicated by a local view or annotation.
